# Dragos Gatan

Hi, I'm a Romanian high school student (16), interested in all computer science, mainly machine learning & software development, though I'm also getting into cybersecurity.

You can always reach me via the accounts listed in the contact section, but I prefer discord.

Down below is a list of my performances at different competitions. So that I don't bore you with too many, I'll mainly add competitions where I qualified for the final stage or received some sort of cash prize. I'll probably also add other sections like projects, experience, and other stuff later.

# Competitions

2026-2027 (10th grade)
  • 1st place @ VNUHACK

    tudor vianu hackathon (october 2026)

  • 3rd place @ UNR Braila

cybersecurity competition, organised by my girlfriend:) (october 2026)

2025-2026 (9th grade)
  • gold & 2nd place @ InfoEducatie, Olympiad of Innovation and Digital Creation, Educational Software Section

built a modern, feature-rich, competitive programming + ctf + ml platform which targeted young people by adding many social & competitive aspects like profiles, friends, duels, leaderboards and so on for the main project github, then a fnaf-style game where you're blocked in a room and escape by completing a set of tasks across a unix system for the open/hackathon round github, was 0.85/200 points away from first place, but the judges were nice and it was a fun experience, thanks to Luca Sas for mentoring us in the open round. (july 2026) results
